Everyday, we have to hear about the Finished Work of Christ and His Grace! After living one way for so long, it can be a challenge to change! I have been a Christian for many years but I have never heard the revelation that I am hearing now! My recommendation to people is that they keep hearing…all the time! You must hear daily because there is so much self performance mixed with Grace. I don’t feel that anyone is trying to purposely teach anything wrong; they simply don’t know any better and people are being taught an diluted impure gospel! I couldn’t even recognize the difference!

Both Linda and I must say that the change didn’t come over-night but it did come and has been coming, as we grow in our understanding. I would encourage Believers to just listen and be open to hear! I love knowing that it isn’t about what I am doing or not doing, it is about what Jesus has accomplished on my behalf! Just keep listening even if it seems very different and even confusing…at first! Remember, you didn’t learn how to read in a day or how to talk or walk in a day, either.

You know when something is right because your spirit will bare a “witness” to it! Then, one day you will have a “light-bulb” moment and recognize exactly what I am talking about! You will see Jesus in every scripture, instead of laws you have to keep. You will quit seeing your short-comings!

I had to read the Epistles (Romans to Jude) because I was confused in the other books. I didn’t know that there were types and shadows throughout the entire Bible that all point to the Messiah. No one told me that the book of James was written to babes in Christ. I had no idea that Jesus, who fulfilled all requirements, came preaching law to people to reveal to them and us that we could not keep it…that we needed a Savior. Unfortunately, I was under law shortly after I became Born-Again and I didn’t even know it!

Keep hearing…daily! I would highly suggest that you listen to Pastor Chris or other knowledgeable teachers of the Gospel of Grace.

(Ps. 25:5) “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.”

Around 2008 Kipp and I had been getting great revelation from God’s word through Andrew Wommack’s teachings. We had never heard a lot of these things that Andrew was teaching. We attended church most of our lives and never was taught that it is always God’s will to heal you and that Jesus paid for our healing as much as he did for our salvation! We were headed in the right direction but was still young in our understanding.

In July of 2009 we started Andrew’s study on “God Wants You Well” and during this study Kipp became very ill. (Isn’t it just like the devil to throw something at you when you start seeing how defeated he is!) We knew enough at this time that we were going to claim and declare healing no matter what came.

Let me attempt to shorten a long-story: Kipp was admitted to a hospital in Indianapolis where he stayed 15 days. He was tested for everything from lymes disease to (of course) cancer. The doctors were baffled. Kipp’s immune system was attacking his red blood cells and causing them to explode which is called “hemolizing.” He had many blood transfusions and test after test. The doctors then misdiagnosed him and removed his spleen. After being sent home and then just two weeks later, all the symptoms returned. (This was a very trying time for us!)

We knew that God wanted Kipp well, but we were not seeing the manifestation. We were doing all that we knew to do at that time. Kipp was constantly praising God, staying very positive and standing on scriptures. We had them plastered everywhere. We knew everything would be O.K. but our question was…”When?”

The next phase for Kipp was to see a doctor in Dayton. Again, (test upon test) bone morrow tests, spinal taps and lot’s of blood draws. Back we went to the hospital for 3 days and then the diagnosis came. LGL Leukemia. This was such a rare leukemia that only a few people in the world have it. Kipp, from day one, stood on the fact that in his heart he knew that he did not have cancer. (Jesus paid the price and LGL Leukemia was trespassing!) So, when the doctor said that this is what it was, Kipp instantly countered him. Thank God that his name is above every name, even this name!!!

The doctor had to do some research to see how to treat this type of cancer. Kipp was put on a life-long drug called cyclosporine instead of chemo or radiation. (It is not a pleasant drug to be on.) Kipp told his doctor that someday he will never see him again. The Doc asked, “What? Are you moving?” Kipp just laughed and said, “No, I’m healed and this is going to be over!!”

December 10, 2011, we went to Michigan for a family Christmas. Previously, someone had told Kipp that he would know in his heart when it would be time to quit taking his medicine. While taking a walk down the road, Kipp had a word from God. He had been feeling for sometime that he wanted to stop taking his meds. and felt like it was “that time.” Kipp drew a line in the sand on the dirt road and said, “That’s it, no more medicine, I am healed and I am taking this action of faith!!” He came to me and asked that I would agree with him on this and stand with him. My faith was built up because I was watching the “Healing Journeys Reunions” with Andrew Wommack. I said, “You bet I will!!” (I guess there comes a time when you just get sick and tired of being sick and tired.)

Kipp is now drug and symptom free. He is healed and set free!! We have come along way in our understanding. By no means are we totally there yet, but this has been an awesome journey. We feel that now we are exactly where we are suppose to be. We are excited to be at TLC where we can grow with like believers! We can’t wait to see what God will do next! Thank God for Jesus and His Finished Work. He has provided everything for us that we will ever need. All we have to do is learn of Him and then we just BELIEVE!!

At this time we are choosing to remain nameless because we have some finalities to tie-up were we are living. Ironically, my wife and I are residing in the very buckle of the Bible belt! We have decided to put our house on the market and move to Greenville, Ohio! We believe that a good grace church is worth the move and we are very excited! We have known Pastor Chris and Jennifer for about 10 years now and we have seen such an impressive change in both of them because of the finished work Gospel! The true Gospel will set you free! My wife and I are so tired of man’s religion and all we want is to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ which is Grace and Truth!

Hi! I am Kellye Johnson from Greenville, Ohio. I have been married to Ron Johnson for 17 years. Ron and I have been attending True Life Church for about 3 years now and we just want people to know that we have never felt such love and acceptance at any church like we have here! We are overwhelmed by the heartfelt kindness and true friendship that the people at our church have shown us! There is no “clicks” and everyone is welcomed! Everyone is happy because they aren’t under a pastor who tells them to act better or try harder!

Personally, I have known Jennifer since I was about 8 years old! She is like a sister to me! She and Chris are a great team! They are very good people and my family thinks a lot of both Jen and Chris.

Because Pastor Chris preaches on the finished work of Christ, the worship is centered on telling us the same thing. Ron and I love the worship because it isn’t about performance. The worship is always uplifting!

Chris’s preaching always tells us who we are in Christ Jesus and what we have because of the finished work at Calvary! We always leave feeling better than when we came in!

Ron and I feel that our lives have been transformed by knowing how much God loves us! We use to think that Christianity was about us loving God but, once we begain to realize that our part was to receive His love for us, we began to change our old mind-sets and get freed from religion and performance! We have never learnt so much at any other church like we have at True Life Church!

Finally, we are never pressured to give, or do anything out of guilt! We found a church that isn’t all about how much money we can give or how much we can do for the church! We can’t wait for Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings because it will be all about what Jesus has done and not about what we are doing or not doing!

Ron and I value the importance of hearing grace centered preaching and bible studies. Ron and I hope this blesses you and encourages you! We recommend you listen to Pastor Chris as often as you can you will begin to feel the change effortlessly!

Since the engagment to my wife was so uncommon I feel I have to share this with others! I love to tell this story because God is so good and He suprises you with His goodness and wonders!

I have felt peace in my life but, I have never felt a total “supernatural” peace that I felt when I was with Jennifer. It was so out of the ordinary that I will never forget how it superceded normal peace!

To simplify our story, she and I were traveling and the car became completely enveloped in this tranquility. Then, we both acknowledged this sense of blanketing peace. Wow! Praise God, I knew this exceptional calm was the Lord showing both of us that we were intended for each other! What a blessing that was!

According to Rom. 12:2 there is a “good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.” Well, I know we both found the perfect will of God!

Remember, the rest that is available to us in Christ is truly out of this world and keeps renewing itself as we receive Him!
