I have no time for “demonic influences” in my life! There is a spirit behind everything: it might be a commercial pushing you to over-eat, or a comment said that scares you into purchasing something you don’t really need, etc. (Most things in life will prey on your fears, unsatisfactions and discontentment.)

I had to stop a manipulation situation just the other day with a person who wanted money from Chris and I for a semi-legit need. (*Hear me!! Test people!!) How? 1. Pray in the spirit–He reminds you of all things and forewarns! 2. Watch for “red flags”–obvious…counterings of the Bible/morality. 3. Throw out certain words/phrases to see how people respond. (Use truth to your leverage!) 4. If something is robbing you of Peace…shut it down! 5. “Man-up”–keep your emotions out of it! **This is using discernment!!)

Demons don’t like it when YOU can’t be manipulated! (They always work through people!)

Well, this person was angry that they didn’t get what they wanted…(manipulation again!) I am hopeful this person will change and see their need for Jesus!
