Week 39 – 2011
Rom. 8:15 states, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Rom. 8:31 says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Fear is torturing. I John 4:18, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (*You will always hate what you fear!) You can rest assured knowing that you are more than a conqueror and carefully protected by The Almighty!
The opposite of faith is self-trust/law/performance which produces fear. Faith works by love. (See Gal. 5:6) For example: The more you know a trust-worthy person the more you have faith in them! The more we know Jesus, faith is the result and fear must leave!
YOU CAN NOT RECEIVE LOVE FROM SOMEONE, UNLESS YOU TRUST THEM!
